4/9/07: Este es mi primer mensaje en esta “pizarra”. Me es un verdadero placer realizar esta
hazaña, particularmente porque lo hago a través de mi primera página electrónica para mi
primer libro. Escribiré siempre en Español e Ingles. Reconozco sin lugar a dudas que muchos
de mis compueblanos en Puerto Rico así como los Estados Unidos, y un gran número de mis
vecinos latinoamericanos, prefieren uno u el otro de los lenguajes. Habiendo dicho eso, es mi
ambición escribir novelas que revolucionen la forma usada año tras año por nuestros
escritores. Quiero producir novelas de acción que sacudan fuertemente el corazón,
produciendo en el lector el mismo pánico que “choca” con el pecho de la protagonista a la vez
que se riega inexorablemente a través de su cuerpo. Quiero producir novelas de romance que
sumerjan a mis lectores en los obstáculos y angustias de los amantes, que los envuelva
totalmente en busca de las soluciones que tan desesperadamente buscan los protagonistas.
Finalmente, quiero producir novelas de terror que lleven a mis lectores a abandonar sus
cómodos hogares por varias horas en lo que se va disipando poco a poco el sabroso miedo
que los consume.

achieve this, particularly when I'm utilizing my first web page for my first book. I'll always write in
English and Spanish, since I recognize that many of my people in Puerto Rico and the United
States, as well as many of our neighbors from Latin America, prefer one or the other language.
Having said that, it is my ambition to produce works that revolutionize the way novels are written
by our writers year after year. I want to produce novels that shock the heart and keep the blood
flowing at a rapid pace. I want my readers to experience the panic that crashes into the
protagonist’s chest and spreads outward through his or her body as the fear intensifies. I want
to produce romance novels that draw my readers unerringly into the plot, “forcing” them to share
the lover’s anguishes and worries, practically urging them to look for their own solutions to the
character’s problems. I want to produce horror novels that force my readers to abandon their
homes for a few hours in order to rid themselves of the delicious fear that temporarily
consumes them.
